Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral for my appointment?

Yes. As a specialist, a valid referral is required from your GP or other specialist doctor. You can send your referral through to our clinic via email, fax or drop into our clinic to provide. Please contact our clinic if you require further information or assistance.

How do I secure an appointment?

A valid referral is required from your GP or other specialist doctor. Our clinic requires this referral prior to making an appointment. Once we have received your referral, we will call you to book an appointment time with Dr Avery. You will then receive a reminder SMS/phone call prior to your appointment date to confirm attendance. 

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Yes. Please bring your Medicare card or DVA card. Please bring a list of any current medications you are taking and any recent x-ray's, scans or reports that are relevant.


If you are attending on behalf of Workers Compensation, please inform our rooms at time of booking and provide additional insurer contact details to ensure approval is received for your attendance.
